Contact [email protected] and she will provide the details. Am I eligible for the AMEC Member rate? If you have a question about your AMEC membership please contact [email protected] I am a non-Austrian resident. Do I still have to pay VAT? Events that take place in Austria are liable for Austrian VAT as they are classified under VAT legislation as ‘services supplied where performed’ and therefore VAT of the country hosting the conference must be charged. Overseas delegates must pay the VAT charged on their invoice initially but can reclaim this back from the Austrian VAT office. To pay by invoice register for the Summit and choose Pay by invoice in the payment method. Please note that if you pay by invoice the cancellation policy still applies. Payment must be immediate and before the event. Your registration is at risk of being cancelled until payment is confirmed. What is the cancellation policy for the Summit and AMEC Awards 2020 In order to obtain a refund you must request a cancellation by email to [email protected] by Wednesday 13 May. All cancellations are subject to a handling and administrative fee of €100 per delegate which will be deducted from any refund. Any cancellation made after this date will not be refundable. A substitute delegate can always be nominated. No shows do not qualify as cancellations and no refunds will be made for no shows. How can I reserve a hotel room and where are the room rates? Please visit the Summit accommodation page for information. Discounted room rates have been arranged at the Vienna Marriott Hotel for Summit and Awards Dinner attendees. Please use the Marriott reservation page to reserve a room. The room rates will only be on availability and at the hotel’s discretion after 18 May so book early. For more information contact [email protected] How can I receive a list of participants? A full participant list will be given to all delegates at the Summit. Photography and filming disclaimer Please be advised that photography and filming will take place at the event. By participating in the event you consent to AMEC and any sponsoring and supporting organisation using these photographs/videos for promotional, news, multimedia, research or educational purposes. Delegate list By registering for the event you agree to be included in the official attendee list which may be supplied to delegates, sponsors and exhibitors before and after the event. Please note you may be contacted by these parties. Your name, position, organisation, state, country and email address may be included in this list. The delegate details will be used to provide delegates with updates about the event and also to share messages from our sponsors. Credit card third party AMEC uses a credit card third party to provide services and this third party will only use the data for the purpose for which it was provided. I will need a letter of invitation before I receive a visa to be able to attend the event. What is the procedure? AMEC will provide letters of invitation upon request. AMEC Non-members must register before asking for a visa letter and we will refund the delegate fee up to 20 days before the Summit if you are unable to get a visa.. A certificate of attendance is available on request by emailing [email protected] following the Summit.
