He was previously independent Chair of the National Heritage Science Forum, a member of the International Integrated Reporting Council, and a board member of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.

She has held various positions within the UN working with the OCHA, UNDP, DPKO, UNCTAD, and UNSDG. In Costa Rica, she has focused on aligning the work of the UN with national priorities, ensuring advance in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. She has led the UN Country Team to make Costa Rica the first country in the Americas to develop a research framework and action plan against hate speech. As a result of this, the research was nominated in 2022 as finalist for the AMEC 2022 Award for Global Effectiveness of Communications.

Prior to joining LinkedIn, Hugley led the Insights and Analytics function for the Prudential Financial Global Communications team. She also managed global insights practices at Weber Shandwick and MSLGROUP. Hugley is currently a member of the IPR Measurement Commission, as well as the recipient of numerous industry recognitions including being the 2019 recipient of AMEC’s Don Bartholomew Award recognizing outstanding service to the communications measurement and evaluation industry and to AMEC.

Hugley holds an MBA from CUNY Baruch Zicklin School of Business and an MS in analytics from Texas A&M University.

Prior to Impact, Aseem worked with McKinsey & Co. as an analyst. At McKinsey he worked with clients in Europe, US and China, helping them improve their operations’ effectiveness in the domain of purchasing and supply management. He also worked in McKinsey & Co.’s Business Technology Office (BTO) practice, a special initiative of McKinsey & Co. that offers technology consulting services.

Aseem holds a Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration from International Management Institute, India and a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies from University of Delhi, India.

Beka is the Director of Evaluation and Outreach for the Cattlemen’s Beef Board (CBB), which is a non-profit organization in the U.S. that stewards the Beef Checkoff program to grow beef demand and optimize investments made by Beef Checkoff contributors.

The CBB is comprised of 101 Board members that consist of U.S. beef, dairy, and veal producers, as well as importers of beef and beef products. In addition, the CBB has nine different contractors that carry out Beef Checkoff-funded programs. Beka’s primary responsibility is to assist CBB contractors with setting meaningful program goals and objectives, collecting program metrics, and then compiling that data into digestible information and insights that are helpful when deciding how to allocate Beef Checkoff dollars.

Prior to this, Carmen had a long career as the Foreign Affairs Correspondent for EFE News Agency based at the United Nations in Geneva, Moscow and Paris, covering events such as the revolution in Romania, the Fall of the Berlin Wall, the war in Chechnya, the crisis in Kosovo, and the NATO campaign in the former Yugoslavia. From 2001 to 2004 she was the Defence and Foreign Affairs Correspondent for EFE News Agency to the European Union and NATO. During that period she was also special envoy to Iraq and Afghanistan. Carmen has a master’s degree in Journalism and Information Science from the Universidad Complutense de Ciencias de la Informacion de Madrid. In 1996, she received an award for Young Journalists by the International Press Association in Madrid for her coverage of the war in Chechenia.

James Hewes started his career in media working at BBC Worldwide, the commercial division of the BBC, the UK state broadcaster. He worked in their publishing business, BBC Magazines, from 2001 to 2012 building a track record of success in marketing, digital and print media, events and international business development.

He was the launch Publisher of olive magazine and grew BBC Magazines’ licensing portfolio from 8 to 55 editions including 20 editions of Top Gear Magazine. James was also a key member of the team that sold BBC Magazines to private equity in November 2011 for £120m and was Publishing Director for Top Gear, Good Food, Easy Cook and Lonely Planet Magazine, responsible for the brands across print and mobile applications. He was also a Director of the BBC Haymarket Exhibitions joint venture.

As Publishing Director of Dubai-based Gulf News Publishing from 2013 to 2016, he had responsibility for more than 30 product areas and launched new brands across digital, live events and print including the group’s first consumer title in Arabic. He was then Interim CEO of The Art Newspaper from 2016-2017 whilst also running his own company, Soho Consulting.

He was appointed President & CEO of FIPP in September 2017 and has re-positioned the 100-year old media trade association as a business focused on learning, knowledge sharing, skills development and networking.

Phil has 25 years’ experience in media analytics and strategic reputation consultancy. He started his career as a co-founder of Presswatch Media, which was acquired by TNS in 2006. He joined Kantar as Media Evaluation Director in 2008.

Phil has created media evaluation programmes for leading global enterprises including Diageo, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Moet Hennessy and Dubai Holding. He has also led projects for several agencies of the European Union and the International Olympic Committee.

In 2016 Phil created a media analytics teaching programme for the University of Westminster in London and is a visiting lecturer to the University’s school of PR and Advertising.
