AMEC has six member categories, click on the links below to obtain more detail on each category of membership and the benefits:

  • Full Member 
    Media Monitoring and Evaluation Organisations who have annual turnover relating to media evaluation of not less than £150,000 and fullfill the full member criteria.
  • Research or PR/Marketing Agency Member
    The AMEC Agency and Research member category is for organisations working in communications research companies, public relations, or as providers to the PR communications industry, to advance the practice and use of measurement and evaluation.
  • Associate Member
    Associate membership of AMEC is open to organisations who provide media analysis or evaluation services to their clients; or have an active interest in, or in the promotion of, best practice in communication planning, research and evaluation.
  • In-House Communication Teams,
    In-House membership of AMEC is open to in-house teams in organizations with a commitment to, an active interest in, or in the promotion of best practice and application of data, analytics, planning, research measurement and evaluation of communication and public relations.
  • Non Profit Members
    The AMEC Not For Profit (NFP) Group was formed to create a unique networking forum for communications leaders working in Not For Profit organisations. The Group’s Mission is to champion the importance of communications in Not for Profit organisations and encourage higher standards of accountability through using effective measurement and insights programs.
  • Small Consultancy Members.
    Small Consultancy membership of AMEC is open to individuals with firms of 1-2 employees who may benefit from this member category include those who provide media analysis or evaluation services to their clients; or have an active interest in, or in the promotion of, best practice in communication planning, research and evaluation.

Every AMEC member has the opportunity to take part in the activities of the Regional Chapter for their geography. AMEC has Chapters in North AmericaAsia and Europe and Latin America and MEA.
