Who can enter the awards?


The awards is open to all communication professionals who uses measurement in PR and communications work:

  • Measurement intelligence, research and insights companies
  • PR and communications agencies
  • Media agencies
  • Digital and social teams
  • In-house communications teams – private, public, government and not-for-profit sectors

How do I enter?


Click here to go to the online Awards entry system. You can log in ahead of entering and create draft entries on the system before submitting entries.

EarlyBird Private sector organisations – Entry Deadline 14 June 2021

AMEC Member: £179 + 20% VAT
Non-Member: £270+ 20% VAT


EarlyBird Not-for-profit & Public sector organisation – Entry deadline 14 June 2021

AMEC Member: £173+ 20% VAT
Non-Member: £253+ 20% VAT


Late Entry Private sector organisations – Entry deadline 9 July 2021

AMEC Member: £263+ 20% VAT
Non-Member: £356+ 20% VAT


Late Entry Not-for-profit & public sector organisations – Entry deadline 9 July 2021

Entry fees must be paid online at the time of completing the submission. If your submissions have not been paid for at close of entry they will not be included for judging. You will receive an invoice/receipt on payment.  

Do I have to pay UK VAT @ 20% if I am not a UK registered company?


If you buy goods or services for your business in the UK that are VAT chargeable, you may be able to reclaim the VAT you paid in the UK if you’re VAT-registered in your own EU country, and bought the goods or services to use in your business.

Can I enter the same campaign in more than one category?


Yes you can enter as many categories as you want with the same campaign.

Can I enter an on-going campaign for an Award?


Yes you can. The majority of the campaign just have taken place between 14 February 2020 to 9 July 2021. It cannot have been entered into the AMEC Awards 2020.

What is the eligibility period?


14 February 2020 to 9 July 2021

What is the closing date for entries?


14 June 2021 23.59 GMT – EarlyBird Entry Deadline
9 July 2021 23.59 GMT – Final Entry Deadline

What if I miss the entry deadline?

When will I know if I am shortlisted?


You will be notified that you have been shortlisted in September 2021 and the shortlist will be published on the AMEC website.

When will the winners be announced?


The AMEC Awards will take place in November 2021. Details to be confirmed.

Can my entry remain confidential?


The responsibility for advising AMEC of any confidentiality restraints imposed by clients shall lie with the company submitting the entry. AMEC will work with you to ensure that clients who wish to remain anonymous will do so to the public. It is advised, to increase your chance of success, to allow the judges to know who the client is. All judges are under strict NDA not to disclose anything. AMEC shall not be held liable for any failure by the company or agency submitting the entry to supply such confidentiality details.

If someone in our organisation is a judge, can we still enter the awards?


Yes. The judge will be recused from judging your entry. Judges can only access the entries that they have been asked to score.

Will my contact details be kept private?


Your personal data that AMEC collects will be processed by AMEC. It will be kept confidential and secure once received. AMEC does not sell or rent personal information to other organisations. AMEC will use the personal data to provide you with information, products and services on AMEC.
