Australian PR professionals commit to BP 3.0

30th November 2020/in AMEC Member Article, Measurement Month, Partner News Deb Camden, PRIA /by Julie Wilkinson

This year’s third release of the Barcelona Principles is proving a catalyst for renewal and commitment by professional bodies throughout the world.

Coinciding with AMEC Measurement Month 2020, the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) has launched an Official Supporter of the BP3.0 campaign to engage their members in committing to best practice measurement and evaluation. See their official supporter page here

AMEC member and chair of the PRIA’s Education Community Committee M&E community of practice, Deb Camden, said the evolution of the Barcelona Principles was a timely reminder to the profession of the importance of being able to demonstrate communication’s value to clients, organisations and society at large.

“By committing to the Barcelona Principles 3.0,  PRIA members are declaring their commitment to best practice. We see this as being a value add to our members and as well advancing AMEC’s  leadership of the profession globally.”

Members are eligible to use the Official Supporter logo after viewing a webinar, “Excellence in communication: the Barcelona Principles 3.0” presented by AMEC Global Managing Director, Johna Burke and Deb Camden and which was recorded as part of the PRIA’s 2020 national conference, “PR Transformed”. It is available via the PRIA website at www.pria.com.au

After viewing the webinar and completing a short quiz, members are issued with an Official Supporter logo for use in promotional materials such as email signatures, pitch documents, web sites and another owned channels.
