This year AMEC is running Measurement Month in November and industry leaders have been quick to give it their support.
Abe Smith, President, EMIA, and Cision, commented: “Measurement month is crucial for really getting to the crux of the important work we all do.
Mazen Nahawi, CEO, CARMA, said: “It’s a global campaign that highlights the value of measurement, but which is also highly localised to appeal to every region.
Measurement Month will again consist of a series of Measurement Weeks covering Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.

North America goes first in Week 1 from Monday 5th – 9th November; followed by Latin America from 12-16th November. Week 3 is for Europe from Monday 19th – 23rd November with Asia Pacific and the Middle East wrapping up from Monday 26th – 30th November. Easy to take part!
Looking to take part in Measurement Month but concerned about cost and time spent organising the event? We have ideas for you. What we know works well and are easy to plan and organise are:

  • Tweet Chats. AMEC Board Director Aseem Sood of Impact Research ran a highly successful Twitter chat session last year, with two invited AMEC representatives as the “experts” willing to answer any questions on measurement. Aseem said: “The Tweet Chat definitely worked and enable Impact Research to connect with the PR community.”
  • Webinars – where you don’t even have to leave your office! This is a great way to connect with your target market in your country or internationally. AMEC CEO Barry Leggetter and AMEC Board Members are on hand to help form your webinar panel.
  • Author a White Paper, blog or set up a trade press interview.
  • Industry Round Table – to watch costs you can run this as a 90-minute breakfast session over coffee and croissants at your office! A low-cost watch of engaging with your clients.
