AMEC’s “Say No” to AVEs campaign, launched at the Global Summit in Bangkok, has struck a chord around the world.
Barry Leggetter, AMEC’s CEO, reports that more and more companies and organisations have aligned themselves to the aim of the campaign to eradicate AVEs.
Leggetter has also been talking to the organisers of major PR Award schemes globally to win their support to zero score entries which use AVEs as the primary means of programme measurement.
He said: “if we succeed at the Awards level, we also send a very clear signal back to PR firms and in-house teams to re-think the way they measure their work.”
