AMEC is seeking nominations for a series of vacancies on its International Board. We ask you to think about using your business and industry experience and standing for election.
Under the rules which form part of our guiding Memorandum and Articles of the Association, half of the Board resigns each year. This year there are 8 vacancies representing Full Members, Associate Members, International Research Members and Non-Profit Members.
Candidates will serve for two-years commencing 1st January, 2019.

“We are looking for experienced, committed professionals to stand for office as a Director in our forthcoming Elections from our members in measurement companies, PR consultancies and Not For Profit organisations. ”
There are vacancies to represent these member categories:

  • Full Member category – 5 vacancies
  • Associate Member – 0 vacancies.
  • International Research Members: – 0 vacancy
  • Individual Members – 1 vacancy
  • Not for Profit Members: – 1 vacancy

The remaining Directors will stay on the Board for 2019 as they have a further year to serve of their two-year term.
Timeline:

  • Monday 8th October – Notice of AMEC AGM and election details posted on AMEC website.
  • Friday 9th November –   Deadline for receiving nominations and personal statements.
  • Monday 12th November – AMEC announces nominations, automatic appointments where only nominations for the seats available are received. If more Nominations are received than the number of vacancies in each membership category a Ballot is now opened.
  • Friday 23rd November – Ballot now closed
  • Friday 30th November – Results announced to successful candidates

The election results are ratified by the AMEC Board and AGM which will be held on Thursday 6th December, 2018 to be held at FleishmanHillard Fishburn, Bankside 2, 100 Southwark Street, London, SE1 0SW, UK
