A major new educational initiative from AMEC – the new AMEC Summit Series – has got off to a great start with events taking place in three European capitals.
AMEC CEO Barry Leggetter developed the Seminar Series concept to give the structure for a series of three events in different countries, or different parts of the same country in the case of the United States. It also gives members an opportunity to host events and involve clients as part of a panel of speakers.
NEWTON Media held the first AMEC Seminar Series event in Prague last month and were delighted with the large audience and how the presentations stimulated interesting discussions.
Magdalena Horanska, CEO of NEWTON Media described it as “an amazing event and we want to thank AMEC for this brilliant new idea”.
Next on the schedule is a Masterclass event organised by Cision and PRIME Research at the Bulgaria Hotel, London on Thursday 25 May. Called “PR measurement in practice”, the event will have six speakers, including client representatives from the Museum of London, the Office for National Statistics; Slimming World and UK Sport.
