Worldwide interest in AMEC framework – Push to make language versions available

AMEC’s new Integrated Evaluation Framework has met an overwhelmingly positive international reaction following its launch at the International Summit in June.
Richard Bagnall, CEO of Prime Research UK and leader of the AMEC working group which developed the framework, said: “We could not have hoped for a more enthusiastic and supportive response.”
Bagnall said AMEC was now working with AMEC member companies who have agreed to translate the resource centre, framework and taxonomy to make it as beneficial and easy to use as possible for PR professionals all around the world.

The AMEC Chair Elect, who will take office in January, Bagnall said translations would form a key element of promoting the Framework through AMEC’s Global Education Programme.
He said: “We have to demonstrate how the Framework works at as many international conferences as we can. I also hope firms will use Measurement Month to help us do this during September.”
First to offer their help was Global News Group in South America, who will provide Spanish and Portuguese translations.
The Framework is also being translated into: Arabic, Mandarin, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Polish and Czech. We expect more language versions to follow including German and French.
