Elections to the 2023 AMEC Board of Directors – NOW CLOSED until 2023 We are delighted to announce the opening of the AMEC Elections 2022 for the 2023-2024 Board of Directors is now open, the deadline to submit nomination and manifesto forms is Sunday 23 October 2022. There are no Chapter leadership election vacancies in the 2023 elections, those elected in 2022 will remain for their final year term in 2023. Members are invited to nominate in their relevant category the procedure and forms can be found here. Key Dates 2022: Election to the 2023-2024 AMEC Board of Directors Sunday 23 October – deadline to submit Nomination and Manifesto forms. Wednesday 26 October – AMEC announces nominations and open a ballot (if required) Thursday 10 November – Ballot closes (if called) AMEC AGM Thursday 17 November 2022. Results ratified/announced. 1 January 2023 – 2-year BOD Term Commences IMPORTANT NOTE TO THE ELECTION PROCESS AMEC Board Elections – members in good standing only can nominate and vote if ballots are called for candidates running in their membership category – for example, a full member can only nominate or vote for another full member. It is important to secure the support of your peers in your relevant membership category in the AMEC Board election candidates are encouraged to reach out to the stakeholders they intend to represent for support.
