Elections to the 2024-2025 AMEC Board of Directors – Now Open!

The Elections for the AMEC 2024-2025 Board of Directors vacant seats are now open. AMEC seeks nominations from members in good standing who are ready to lead and volunteer their experience to make a difference to the work of the organization and industry.

Members are invited to nominate suitable senior candidates for the Board elections, all details for both the Board of Director and Chapter vacancies can be found following the links below.

Key Dates 2022 elections for 2024-2025 Board Term

  • Tuesday 26 September – Elections now open and notice of the  2023 AMEC AGM and election details posted on AMEC website.
  • Sunday 15 October – Deadline to submit Nominations and Personal Statement forms.
  • Wednesday 18 October – AMEC announces nominations and open ballots, if required, e.g., if nominations exceed the number of vacancies in each membership category.
  • Thursday 2 November – Ballot closes (if called)
  • Thursday 16 November – AMEC AGM – election results ratified and announced.
  • 1 January 2024 – 2-year BOD Term Commences

AMEC must receive individual valid nomination form and completed manifesto using the appropriate forms the election by the nomination deadline of SUNDAY 15 OCTOBER 2023, midnight in your time zone.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO THE ELECTION PROCESS

AMEC Board and Chapter Elections – members can only nominate and vote for candidates running in their membership category in good standing – for example a full member can only nominate or vote for another full member.

Completed nomination and manifesto forms will be posted on the AMEC website, if the number of nominations exceeds the vacancies ballots will be run and members, in good standing, who can validly vote will be invited to participate in the ballots in each election.
