The election process for members AMEC seeks nominations from members who are ready to lead and volunteer their experience to make a difference to the work of the organization and industry. All you need to know is in the AMEC Procedure for Election to the Board of Directors 2024-2025 You can self-nominate or ask another AMEC member to nominate you, provided that, the member is from the same membership category as your company. There are two documents to complete and return via e-mail by SUNDAY 15 OCTOBER 2023. Nomination Form Election Manifesto Nominations will be posted on our election website page for member review. 2024-2025 International Board of Director vacancies: Full Members: 5 vacancies International Research Members: 0 vacancy Not for Profit Members: 0 vacancy Associate Members: 3 vacancies Individual Members: 0 vacancy Important note to nomination and voting process AMEC Board Elections – members in good standing only can nominate and vote if ballots are called for candidates running in their membership category* – for example, a full member can only nominate or vote for another full member. (*Ballots will be distributed 18 October to members in member categories with vacancies and only reflect candidates in the category). It is important to secure the support of your peers in your relevant membership category in the AMEC Board election candidates are encouraged to reach out to the stakeholders they intend to represent for support.
