HELP LEAD THE INDUSTRY – AMEC BOARD AND CHAPTER ELECTIONS NOW OPEN!

AMEC seeks nominations from members who wish to stand for the vacant positions of Board and Chapter Directors for a two-year term commencing January 2025. Candidates ready to lead and volunteer their experience to make a difference to the work of AMEC and industry should submit their nomination and manifesto.

The procedure guides and official documents can be accessed on the website here and all nominations and manifesto’s must be completed by Monday 14 October 2024.

                                       Key Dates for 2025-2026 Board Term Elections
•    Monday 30 September – Notice of AMEC AGM and election details posted on AMEC website and in this AMEC Alert.
•    Monday 14 October – Deadline to submit Nominations and Personal Statement forms.
•    Wednesday 16 October – AMEC announces nominations and open ballots, if required, e.g., if nominations exceed the number of vacancies in each membership category.
•    Wednesday 30 October – Ballot closes (if called)
•    Wednesday 6 NovemberAMEC AGM – election results ratified and announced.
•    Sunday 1 January 2025 – BOD Two Year Term Commences
•    Thursday 31 December 2026 – BOD Two-Year Term Ends
