International association for the measurement and evaluation of communication
AMEC, working with member company Isentia, has renewed its ties with CIPRA, the China International Public Relations Association with a practical workshop in Beijing. It follows the signing of a Strategic Agreement between AMEC and CIPRA 12 months ago. Richard Bagnall, AMEC’s Chairman, said: “When we signed the Strategic Agreement we committed to work with CIPRA to help Chinese public relations practitioners better understand the latest thinking and trends in international communications measurement, evaluation and insights..” A short highlights video of the event is available here: http://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/1nqWwF21Mlx9ovJJ2z_E6g The workshop on Communications Measurement and Evaluation was chaired by Wong Kian Fong, Isentia’s Chinese commercial director. Bagnall gave a presentation, “Global PR Change and Trends, and how it affects measurement” during which he and Shan Chengjun, Insights Director, Isentia China, introduced and demonstrated the AMEC Integrated Communication Evaluation Framework in Chinese. Subsequently, Khali Sakkas, Chief Executive of Research & Insights at iSentia, presented two case studies. Both were designed to demonstrate the Barcelona Principles, the application of the framework and the value of best practice measurement and evaluation. The event was a great success with a packed house of practitioners and a testament to the spirit of co-operation between AMEC and CIPRA.
