It is awarded in recognition of an individual’s outstanding contribution to AMEC, and to the wider measurement and evaluation industry. AMEC Chairman, Aseem Sood, CEO of Impact Research and Measurement who presented the Award during the ceremony in London on November 17 said “Richard Bagnall has gone above and beyond in his dedication to the measurement industry at large and in his tireless work, he is the best evangelist that we have for AMEC and the measurement community, he is the brains behind many AMEC initiatives including: the Valid Metrics Framework, M3 Tool, and the IEF. This last tool is very close to Richard’s heart as the concept was created with the gentleman and great friend of Richard’s to whom this noble Award is named after; Don Bartholomew. Richard volunteered his time tirelessly leading AMEC as Chair for six straight years, the longest term ever served by a Chair.
