Introducing the new leadership team for the AMEC APAC Chapter29th July 2022/in Chapters and Regions, News AMEC, Aseem Sood, Deb Camden, Felicia Nugroho/by Julie WilkinsonHaving been an integral part of the leadership team of the AMEC APAC Chapter since 2014, current AMEC Chair Aseem Sood, CEO of Impact Research and Measurement Pvt, is handing over the regional baton to a new leadership team as he focuses on his broader AMEC Chair role. The 2022-2024 Co-Chairs of the APAC Chapter are Deb Camden, Founder of The Communication Dividend, based in Australia and Felicia Nugroho, Director, Analytics & Insights at Maverick Indonesia. Aseem said “I am very happy that two wonderful members have taken over APAC chapter leadership. Deb, with her knowledge and experience, has contributed a lot to the integrated Evaluation Framework and understands the challenges and opportunities in the APAC region well. I also had the pleasure of listening to Felicia’s ideas in her Summit presentation and the Board meeting in Vienna. I am confident that Deb and Felicia will take APAC chapter to greater heights. I will be supporting them in all their endeavours.” Delighted to be standing as Chapter Co-Chair, Deb Camden said ““Felicia and I have big shoes to fill with the elevation of APAC’s long-term chair, Aseem Sood, to the role of AMEC Chair. Over the past two years, I’ve been fortunate to share Zoom screens with Aseem as we’ve talked about the importance of integrated measurement and evaluation and its application to strengthen strategic communication. He has worked tirelessly to unite and connect AMEC members in the growing Asia Pacific market, and we are committed to carrying forward his vision and enthusiasm. AMEC has so many valuable initiatives for members available now and that are in the pipeline. I’m keen to make sure our chapter members throughout Asia Pacific access and understand these important opportunities and in the process, grow their networks of colleagues throughout the region. Another priority is to learn from and listen to our members regarding the emerging areas of interest in their measurement and evaluation practice and professions. With that in mind, please reach out to us with any suggestions you have regarding ways we can strengthen the value of your AMEC membership.” Felicia Nugroho who has been a active APAC member, hosting AMEC webinars and being a successful nominee for the AMEC Rising Stars accolade in 2021 said “I am honoured to be asked to co-chair the APAC chapter with Deb and I share her awe of the work that Aseem has done in the region and AMEC globally. I am a relative newcomer to AMEC, but I am a believer that its frameworks, belief that a rising tide lifts all ships, and the camaraderie of its members will greatly enrich and inspire many on the Asian side of the Asia-Pacific to greater heights in measurement and demonstrating value to clients. I hope to work with the members in APAC to help come up with solutions that answer to their local needs and add diversity to what is already a vibrant organization.” We look forward to welcoming the new Chapter Co-Chairs and their plans for the region. If you are a AMEC member based in the region not already on the group and would like to be involved in the Chapters activities let us know and we will welcome you to the basecamp forum used for APAC community discussions and news. https://amecorg.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/AMEC-Logo.jpg 100 300 Julie Wilkinson https://amecorg.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Large-amec-logo-master-1024x232.png Julie Wilkinson2022-07-29 11:58:112022-07-29 13:55:01Introducing the new leadership team for the AMEC APAC Chapter
