AMEC is taking the final steps in the process to appoint a new CEO.
Richard Bagnall, AMEC Chairman, said AMEC had received over 100 applications for the CEO role with shortlisted candidates interviewed by the AMEC Board in Barcelona during the Global Summit.
He said follow-up due diligence was being carried out and he expected an announcement to be made at the beginning of August at the latest.
The incoming CEO will take over from Barry Leggetter, AMEC’s CEO for 11 years, who is stepping down at the end of the year.
