What does the delegate fee include?

  • A Summit Delegate Place Includes:

    • Two full Summit days of speakers and panel sessions with lunch and all refreshments during networking breaks included – 24 and 25 May
    • TWO HOSTED NETWORKING events in addition to the Summit main days:
      • Business Networking Drinks Reception from 6.30pm to 8.00pm on Monday 23 May
      • AMEC 25th Anniversary Celebration Reception on Tuesday 24 May
    • Access to speaker presentations and on-demand to re-visit the sessions

    A Virtual Pass includes:

    • Keynote and panel presentations from the 2 days of the Summit to view live
    • Ability to network virtually with other delegates on the platform hosted by Intrado
    • On-demand access to view and download presentation recordings and speaker slide decks for 6 months until 30 November 2022

Payment methods

Delegate fees and virtual passes are confirmed once booked and AMEC will generate an invoice in due course. This will be issued to the delegate (or other contact as advised) for payment.

Where required, purchase order numbers must be included on the booking form.

Payment methods accepted are:

Receipts can be downloaded by delegates from the booking site.

Delegate liability waiver agreement for the AMEC Global Summit 

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the 2022 AMEC global Summit. It is exciting to be able to run the event in person this year following the two years of restrictions placed upon us all due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, to protect our event and those in attendance, it is necessary for delegates planning to join us to acknowledge a waiver of liability. Confirmation of booking is agreement to these terms.

AMEC has put precautions in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, we cannot guarantee that you will not become exposed to or infected with COVID-19 as a result of attendance at the Summit.  By registering for this event, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19. AMEC will not accept any responsibility for this risk, you are agreeing not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless AMEC, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

By registering for this event you are accepting voluntarily to assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19. AMEC will not accept any responsibility for this risk, you are agreeing not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless AMEC, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK. I acknowledge and understand the following:

1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;

2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties; and

3. I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with the Activity, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties.

FULL RELEASE AND WAIVER.
I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, AND DEMANDS OF WHATEVER KIND OR NATURE AGAINST AMEC AND ITS AFFILIATED PARTNERS AND SPONSORS, INCLUDING IN EACH CASE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”), EITHER IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES OR LOSSES CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE, FAULT OR CONDUCT OF ANY KIND ON THE PART OF  THE RELEASED PARTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DEATH, BODILY INJURY, ILLNESS, ECONOMIC LOSS OR OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES, OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, WHICH I, MY HEIRS, ASSIGNEES, NEXT OF KIN AND/OR LEGALLY APPOINTED OR DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVES, MAY HAVE OR WHICH MAY HEREINAFTER ACCRUE ON MY BEHALF, WHICH ARISE OR MAY HEREAFTER ARISE FROM MY PARTICIPATION WITH THE ACTIVITY.

What is the cancellation policy for the Summit

There is no cancellation policy. A substitute delegate can always be nominated. No shows do not qualify as cancellations and no refunds will be made for no shows. Please note that submitting a confirmed booking, that is confirmation of your attendance and the above policy still applies.

Payment must be immediate and no later than one week prior to the start of the event.

Delegate list

By registering for the event you agree to be included in the official attendee list which may be supplied to delegates, sponsors and exhibitors before and after the event. Please note you may be contacted by these parties. Your name, position, organisation, state, country and email address may be included in this list. The delegate details will be used to provide delegates with updates about the event and also to share messages from our sponsors.

Credit card third party

AMEC uses a credit card third party called Stripe to provide services and this third party will only use the data for the purpose for which it was provided.

Can I receive a certificate of attendance?

Yes, a certificate of attendance may be required by our partner organisations to ensure you attain continuing education / professional development credits.

Certificates will be provided 2 weeks after the Summit once attendance has been confirmed.
