The search is on for the world’s best campaigns and programmes with the opening of the 2017 AMEC Global Effectiveness Awards.

The EarlyBird deadline is 8th February 2017.  The final deadline is the last Friday in February – Friday 24th 2017.

The awards recognise outstanding work internationally and are open to all measurement and research firms; media agencies; digital and social media teams; PR consultancies; private and public sector and Not-For- Profit in-house communication teams.

Barry Leggetter, CEO of AMEC, said: “There is already a lot of interest in the AMEC Awards and we are encouraging everyone to plan their entries early to get ahead of the Holiday season.

There are 18 categories which can be viewed here. Additionally there are three special awards:

The Don Bartholomew Award

Named in honour of the late Don Bartholomew, of Ketchum and a strong supporter of AMEC, this award is awarded annually by the AMEC International Board to an individual who has made an Outstanding Contribution to AMEC and the industry.

Grand Prix Awards

These awards cannot be entered directly. The winners are selected by the judges as the most outstanding from the Gold winning entries of each category.

  • Platinum Award – for most effective measurement agency campaign
  • Platinum Award – for most effective PR consultancy/in-house communications team campaign.
