AMEC sets Three Year Strategy
Expanding AMEC’s membership, continuing emphasis on knowledge share and online learning and the updating of the current Professional Code of Practice were amongst the main commitments made by the AMEC Board as part of its Three Year Strategy review. The Board will also be developing a new unified Mission Statement to better describe and differentiate AMEC’s role.
Meeting at a special session in London late last year, the Board renewed its support for AMEC International Summits and will consider a new harmonized Summit approach starting from 2013.
Mike Daniels, who led the strategy review process said: “After a long period of reflection and discussion, I’m delighted that our recent Board meeting was unanimous in its support for AMEC’s continuing efforts to be the catalyst for change in communications measurement, through its professional development and cross-industry initiatives.”
He added: “Greater involvement of AMEC members in all our activities was a key priority and will be enhanced by our support for more international regional Chapters to join the North American and Asia Pac Chapters.”
